Custom Design Policy

  1. Artwork Design Process:
       1.1. DHD Design Studio ("DHD") specializes in creating unique and custom artwork designs for clients. This includes various types of artwork, such as illustrations, logos, and graphics.
       1.2. The client commissions DHD to create artwork based on their specific requirements and preferences. This can include providing reference images, descriptions, and any other relevant information to guide the design process.
       1.3. Design fees of $600 are required to initiate the artwork design process and are non-refundable. These fees cover the time, effort, and expertise of the DHD team in creating the custom artwork.
       1.4. DHD provides a sketch of the artwork for client approval before proceeding with the coloring stage. This allows the client to review the initial concept and provide feedback or request minor changes.
       1.5. The client is allowed to request minor changes to the sketch, such as adjustments to specific elements or details. However, the overall concept and theme of the artwork must remain unchanged.
       1.6. DHD offers hand screen printing services, which have a limitation of a maximum of 6 colors per design. This is important to consider when finalizing the artwork, as complex and intricate designs may need to be simplified to fit within this color limitation.
       1.7. In cases where company logos are included in the artwork, DHD may modify the logo color or artwork to match the design palette, ensuring visual coherence and harmony.

    2. Artwork Ownership and Usage:
       2.1. Once the client has paid the design fees, they retain the rights to the commissioned artwork. This means that they have the authority to use, reproduce, and distribute the artwork as they see fit.
       2.2. DHD always retains ownership of the artwork, meaning that they have the right to display the artwork in their portfolio, use it as a sample for potential clients, and showcase it on their website or social media platforms.
       2.3. DHD requires that the client prints the design through their printing services. This ensures quality control and consistency in the final product, as DHD has expertise in printing their artwork on specific garments.
       2.4. DHD cannot use the client's commissioned artwork for any purposes, including reproduction or distribution, without the explicit permission of the client. This protects the client's rights and ensures that they have control over the usage of their own artwork.

    3. Printing and Garment Options:
       3.1. DHD prints the artwork on high-quality 100% cotton garments. This ensures durability, comfort, and a high-quality finish for the printed design.
       3.2. The available sizes for men's tees range from small to 5XL in black and up to 3XL in most other colors. However, it's important to note that garment sizing may vary slightly due to manufacturer specifications. It's recommended to refer to the size chart provided by DHD to select the appropriate size.
       3.3. Ladies' sizing goes up to 2XL, but similar to men's garments, sizing may vary slightly based on manufacturer specifications. It's advisable to refer to the size chart provided by DHD for accurate sizing information.
       3.4. Men's hoodies are available up to 2XL, but in some cases, based on the complexity of the design, larger sizes up to 4XL may be possible. Again, it's important to consider potential variations in garment sizing based on manufacturer specifications.
       3.5. Ladies' hoodies are available up to XLARGE, but similar to other garments, sizing may vary slightly. It's recommended to refer to the provided size chart for accurate sizing information.
       3.6. Colors may vary slightly from each print due to the printing process and variations in fabric dye lots. While DHD strives to maintain consistency, it's important to note that minor variations in color may occur between different prints or batches of fabric.

    4. Minimum Print Run and Pricing:
       4.1. The minimum print run for DHD is 40 garments. This means that clients must order a minimum of 40 items to proceed with the printing process.
       4.2. The pricing for tees is $50 each, and for hoodies, it is $80 each. These prices reflect the cost of the garment, the custom artwork design, and the printing process. It's important to note that pricing may vary depending on the complexity of the design and any additional customization or services requested by the client.

    5. Artwork Usage Expiration:
       5.1. If the client does not proceed with printing the commissioned artwork within 6 months of the commission date, the rights to the artwork are forfeited. This means that the client no longer has exclusive rights to use or reproduce the artwork.
       5.2. In such cases, DHD reserves the right to use the artwork for other purposes, such as displaying it in their portfolio or using it as a sample for potential clients. However, DHD will not use the artwork for commercial purposes without the explicit permission of the client.

    6. Shipping:
       6.1. Postage costs for shipping the printed garments will be calculated at the end of the order process. The estimated shipping cost per box to one address in Australia is approximately $70. However, it's important to note that this is a rough estimate, and actual shipping costs may vary depending on factors such as the size and weight of the boxes, the destination address, and any additional services required.
       6.2. DHD only ships to residential or commercial addresses within city limits. They are unable to deliver to addresses in rural or remote areas, unless specifically requested and quoted.

    7. Refunds and Returns:
       7.1. The design fee of $600 is non-refundable. Once the client has paid this fee, it cannot be refunded, regardless of whether the client proceeds with the printing or not.
       7.2. There are no refunds on custom design print work. Once the client has approved the final design and it has been printed, DHD does not offer refunds for any reason.
       7.3. DHD is not responsible for any errors or mistakes made by the client during the design approval process. It is the client's responsibility to carefully review the artwork, provide accurate feedback, and approve the final design before proceeding with printing.
       7.4. Garment sizing may vary slightly due to manufacturer specifications. DHD is not responsible for any sizing issues that may arise as a result of these variations.
       7.5. Colors may vary slightly from each print due to the printing process and variations in fabric dye lots. DHD is not responsible for any color discrepancies that may occur between different prints or batches of fabric.

    By commissioning DHD for artwork design and proceeding with the order, you acknowledge and agree that the design fee is non-refundable and there are no refunds on custom design print work. It is important to carefully review the artwork and provide accurate sizing information before placing your order.     We provide tracking information for packages to allow recipients to monitor the progress of their delivery. It is the responsibility of the recipient to regularly check the tracking information and communicate with us if any issues or concerns arise regarding the delivery.

     

    5. Claims and Disputes:

    In the event of any loss, damage, theft, or mishandling of a delivered package, the recipient must promptly notify us within a reasonable time frame. We will investigate the matter and, if necessary, initiate any claims or disputes with the relevant shipping carrier. However, we make no guarantees regarding the outcome of such claims or disputes.

    We may use third-party shipping carriers to deliver packages. While we strive to engage reliable carriers, we shall not be held responsible for any actions, omissions, or negligence on the part of these third-party carriers.
